Silk filament benefits from slightly higher nozzle temperatures than standard PLA. Start at 215-220°C and adjust up if the sheen looks dull. Lower your cooling fan to 50-70% — this allows the silk additives to flow and align properly, producing a deeper, more consistent metallic effect. Use at least 3 perimeters for the strongest visual impact on outer surfaces.
