3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ is the filament that removes variables from the print equation. Made exclusively from 100% virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D PLA resin — with no fillers, stretchers, or recycled content — every spool delivers the same melt behavior, color accuracy, and dimensional consistency as the last. With 40 colors in stock including fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark variants, AMS-compliant spools for Bambu Lab printers, and tight diameter tolerance controlled by a multi-axis laser measurement system during production, this is a workhorse PLA+ built for repeatable results across every printer on your bench.

⚠️ Print temp runs 5–10°C higher than standard PLA because 3D-Fuel uses no fillers — pure Ingeo 4043D resin needs slightly more heat than filler-cut filaments. Start at 210°C and dial in from there.
⚠️ AMS spool compliance note: Since October 2023, Standard PLA+ ships on an AMS-compliant spool. Older warehouse stock is still AMS-compatible but requires the AMS lid left open a few mm.

100% Virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D — No Fillers, No Surprises

Most budget PLA uses filler materials — chalk, talc, or recycled content — to reduce cost. Fillers change the melt viscosity, reduce color vibrancy, and make print behavior less predictable between spools and colors. 3D-Fuel uses only NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D, the same food-contact-grade biopolymer resin specified by professional filament manufacturers worldwide. No fillers means the filament behaves the same regardless of color — the same temperature, the same retraction, the same first layer adhesion across all 40 variants. Once you dial in a profile for one color, it works for all of them.

40 Colors — Including Fluorescent and Glow-in-the-Dark

The 3D-Fuel color range covers the full spectrum with Pantone®-referenced color targets for color-accurate printing. Three fluorescent colors (Green, Orange, Yellow) fluoresce under UV/blacklight — a functional advantage for arena props, safety parts, and cosplay builds that need to glow under blacklight without paint. The Glow-in-the-Dark variant charges under ambient or UV light and emits in the dark. All colors use the same Ingeo 4043D base, so switching colors mid-project does not require a profile change.

Bambu AMS Compatible — AMS-Compliant Spool Format

The broad color range and consistent melt behavior make Standard PLA+ one of the most practical choices for Bambu Lab AMS multi-color printing. With 40 colors on the same base resin, you can load multiple colors into the AMS and run a single tuned profile across all lanes without per-color adjustments. Spools produced since October 2023 ship in the AMS-compliant format. If you receive older warehouse stock, the spool is still AMS-compatible with the lid cracked open a few mm — no hardware modification needed.

Laser-Controlled Diameter Tolerance — Consistent Extrusion, Every Spool

Variable filament diameter is one of the most common causes of under-extrusion, layer inconsistency, and failed multi-color prints. 3D-Fuel controls filament diameter and ovality in real time during production using a multi-axis laser measurement system. Every meter of filament is measured before it reaches the spool — not spot-checked after. For Bambu AMS users running multiple colors simultaneously, consistent diameter means the flow calibration that works on lane 1 also works on lanes 2, 3, and 4.
