3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ Filament — Almond (#DACCB2), 1.75mm, Warm Light Beige Between Bone White and Desert Tan, Desert Terrain Highlight, Home Decor & Architectural Models, 100% Virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D, Bambu AMS Compatible, Made in USA

3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ in Almond is the lightest visible earth tone in the warm neutral range — Pantone® 13-1006 TPG at #DACCB2, positioned between Bone White (#F3E2C7) and Desert Tan (#C1AC98). It reads as a clean, warm light beige with enough color presence to register clearly against white and off-white surfaces, but light enough to function as a highlight or accent tone alongside deeper earths like Desert Tan, Flat Dark Earth, and Chocolate Brown. In a Bambu AMS multi-color setup, Almond is the highlight and dry-brush reference color in the 3D-Fuel desert and earth palette — the tone that adds tonal variation, edge highlights, and visual depth to terrain and scale model builds printed in darker earth tones on other lanes. Beyond modeling, its warm neutral character makes it one of the most versatile colors in the lineup for home decor, interior architectural models, and figurines where a non-white, non-gray neutral is needed. Built on 100% virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D PLA resin with no fillers — consistent warm beige, spool to spool.

⚠️ Print temp runs 5–10°C higher than standard PLA because 3D-Fuel uses no fillers. Start at 210°C and adjust from there.
Bambu AMS compatible. AMS-compliant spool (Oct 2023 and later). Older warehouse stock fits AMS with lid cracked open a few mm.
Same print profile as all 40 Standard PLA+ colors. Load Almond alongside Bone White, Desert Tan, and Flat Dark Earth on separate AMS lanes — no profile changes required.

Almond in the Warm Neutral Spectrum — The Highlight Tone

The 3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ warm neutral range runs from pale cream to deep earth brown. Almond sits at the lightest end of the visibly tinted range — lighter than Desert Tan but warmer and more saturated than Bone White. This position makes it the natural highlight color in any earth-tone multi-color build: wherever Desert Tan is the base, Almond functions as the raised-surface accent; wherever Bone White would be too pale, Almond adds warmth without adding depth.

Color Hex Pantone® Tonal Role Best Use
Bone White #F3E2C7 P 8-1 U Pale warm cream — near-white Extreme highlights, weathering, aged surfaces
Almond ← this product #DACCB2 13-1006 TPG Light warm beige — visible but neutral Dry-brush highlights, sand light zones, natural stone, linen
Desert Tan #C1AC98 15-1309 TPG Mid-tone sandy tan — primary earth base Desert base color, arid terrain, NATO tan
Flat Dark Earth #977B6C 4257 CP Deep warm earth — shadow/panel line Shadow recesses, soil, aged wood, panel lines
Chocolate Brown #58413B P 67-16 C Dark rich brown — deepest earth Deep shadows, rocky ground, dark soil, leather

For a complete five-value desert terrain palette in a single AMS print session, load Bone White, Almond, Desert Tan, Flat Dark Earth, and Chocolate Brown on five lanes. No painting required — the tonal range from pale highlight to deep shadow is entirely covered by these five colors in a single print, and all five share identical Ingeo 4043D base resin and print profiles.

Wargaming Terrain — The Dry-Brush Highlight Color

In traditional wargaming terrain painting, dry-brushing a lighter tone over a darker base is the standard technique for adding tonal variation, edge definition, and the appearance of weathering to terrain pieces. In AMS multi-color printing, Almond replaces that step entirely — assigning Almond to the top surfaces and raised edges of a terrain piece while Desert Tan covers the main body produces the same three-dimensional tonal effect as a paint-and-dry-brush workflow, straight off the print bed. For Warhammer 40K desert boards, Bolt Action North Africa terrain, and SAGA desert scenarios, Almond as the highlight lane over a Desert Tan base delivers gallery-quality terrain without a single brush stroke.

Home Decor & Interior Models — The Neutral That Isn't Gray

Almond occupies a tonal space that no gray can fill — it's a warm neutral that reads as natural, organic, and tactile rather than industrial or cool. For home decor prints — vases, bowls, organizers, wall art, and decorative objects — Almond produces a finish that integrates naturally with linen, wood, terracotta, and natural-material interiors where gray or white would look clinical. For architectural scale models, Almond reads as limestone, sandstone, plaster, and unfinished concrete under gallery lighting — natural building material tones that white filament cannot replicate. For figurines and busts, Almond sits in the range of warm skin undertones and natural fabric colors, making it a useful base or mid-tone for character prints that will be displayed without painting.

100% Virgin Ingeo 4043D — Consistent Warm Beige, No Batch Variation

Light neutral colors like Almond are among the most sensitive to batch-to-batch variation — small shifts in pigment loading against a clear PLA base push the perceived warmth of the beige noticeably cooler or warmer between production runs. Because 3D-Fuel uses only virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D resin with no fillers or recycled content, the pigment concentration is consistent against a chemically identical base every time. Almond at Pantone® 13-1006 TPG is the same warm beige on every spool — critical for multi-spool terrain builds where color consistency across multiple spools of the same color is a practical production requirement.

Who Is This For?

Almond Standard PLA+ serves three distinct buyers. Wargaming terrain builders using AMS who want the dry-brush highlight effect built into the print without painting — loaded as the top-surface accent lane over Desert Tan for a complete two-tone desert result that requires no post-processing. Home decor and interior design printers who need a warm neutral that integrates with natural material interiors without the coldness of gray or the starkness of white — for vases, bowls, decorative objects, and architectural models where limestone, sandstone, and plaster tones are the brief. And figurine and miniature builders who need a light warm tone for skin undertones, natural fabric, aged parchment, and organic surfaces that don't require painting to look finished. For all three, Almond delivers a Pantone-matched, batch-consistent warm beige on the same reliable Ingeo 4043D base as every other color in the Standard PLA+ range.
