LDO Voron V2.4 Rev.A to Rev.C Upgrade Kit — Stealthburner PCBs, CW2 Motor, Neopixels, BTT PiTFT43 and Full Cable Harness

If you built your Voron V2.4 from an early LDO Rev.A kit, your machine is missing three years of refinements that shipped with the Rev.C release: the Stealthburner two-piece toolhead PCB system, Clockwork 2 extruder motor, Neopixel lighting chain, chamber thermistor wiring, and the BTT PiTFT43 touch display. This kit bundles every electrical and wiring component needed to bring your Rev.A machine fully up to Rev.C spec — without buying a new printer kit.

⚠️ This kit is for LDO Voron V2.4 Rev.A owners upgrading to Rev.C only. It is not a standalone build kit and does not include structural, motion, or printed parts.
⚠️ Printed parts for Stealthburner and Clockwork 2 are NOT included. You will need to print the Rev.C toolhead parts before installing this kit. Refer to the official LDO Rev.C documentation linked in Resources.
⚠️ Raspberry Pi is NOT included. The BTT PiTFT43 display requires a Raspberry Pi already installed in your printer.

Why Rev.C Was a Significant Jump — What You're Actually Upgrading

The Rev.A LDO kit shipped with the Afterburner toolhead, a single-piece toolhead PCB, and no Neopixel lighting or chamber thermistor support. Rev.C introduced the Stealthburner + Clockwork 2 toolhead as the new standard, replacing Afterburner entirely. With it came a redesigned two-piece PCB system — a main Toolhead PCB that mounts to the CW2 extruder body and a Fan Adapter PCB that mounts directly to the 5015 blower fan — which connects via a single 14-pin cable to the controller, dramatically simplifying toolhead wiring and serviceability. The upgrade also brought in Neopixel support for the Stealthburner LEDs, a dedicated chamber thermistor, and the BTT PiTFT43 as the official display. This kit gives you all of that in a single order.

Upgrade Cable Kit — Everything the Rev.C Wiring Harness Adds

The Rev.A wiring harness lacked circuits for features that didn't exist yet. This cable kit covers every new signal and power run introduced in Rev.C:

Neopixel Chain Powers the Stealthburner RGB LEDs — requires pin PB0 in Klipper config
Neopixel Extension Cable Routes Neopixel signal from toolhead PCB to controller
Chamber Thermistor Cable External thermistor for enclosure temperature monitoring — connects to CT port on Stealthburner PCB
Controller RPi Power Cable Dedicated power run for the Raspberry Pi from the Octopus board
Bed Thermistor Extension Cable Extended run for bed thermistor routing
Bed Live Extension Cable AC bed heater live conductor extension
Bed Neutral Extension Cable AC bed heater neutral conductor extension
Touch Display Cable Ribbon cable for BTT PiTFT43 — metal contacts facing up, blue tab to the back
Part Fan Cable Wiring for the 5015 blower fan via the Fan Adapter PCB (P4 port)
Hotend Fan Cable Wiring for the 4010 hotend cooling fan

Upgrade PCB Kit — The Stealthburner Two-Piece PCB System

The toolhead PCB architecture changed completely between Rev.A and Rev.C. This PCB kit delivers the full Rev.C harness system based on hartk's two-piece toolhead design, adapted by LDO for direct compatibility with their Octopus breakout PCB:

Toolhead PCB Main Stealthburner PCB — mounts to CW2 extruder body, consolidates hotend heater, thermistors, probe, fans, and Neopixel into single 14-pin cable
Stealthburner Fan Adapter PCB Mounts directly to rear of 5015 fan, connects to Toolhead PCB via 2×8 header — allows Stealthburner main body to detach cleanly for maintenance
Octopus Power Adapter PCB Controller-end breakout for the 14-pin toolhead cable — keeps wiring at the Octopus board organized and serviceable
2×2 XH Splicer PCB Inline connector for clean signal splicing on the cable run
ADXL Pi Hat Raspberry Pi header board for ADXL345 accelerometer — enables input shaper resonance compensation in Klipper

LDO-36STH20-1004AHG(VRN) — The Clockwork 2 Extruder Motor

Clockwork 2 requires a specific round pancake stepper motor that Rev.A kits did not include. The LDO-36STH20-1004AHG(VRN) is the correct motor for the CW2 extruder on the Stealthburner toolhead. Note that the VRN variant uses a specific connector and wire color arrangement — follow LDO's Rev.C documentation for the correct pin mapping to the Toolhead PCB E MOTOR port. Do not assume it is pin-compatible with generic CW2 motor specs.

BTT PiTFT43 4.3" Touch Display

The official Rev.C display upgrade for Voron V2.4. The 4.3" capacitive touchscreen connects via ribbon cable to the Raspberry Pi and runs the Klipperscreen interface for direct printer control without a network connection. Ribbon cable orientation: metal contacts facing up, blue tab toward the rear on both the display and Pi connectors.

Fans and Connectors

The kit includes the two fans required for the Stealthburner toolhead at 24V: a 4010 axial fan for hotend cooling and a 5015 blower fan for part cooling — both wired for the Stealthburner Fan Adapter PCB. The two Wago 221-412 splicing connectors are included for clean inline connections on the bed AC wiring extensions.

Who Is This For?

This kit is specifically for builders who completed a Voron V2.4 from an early LDO Rev.A kit and have been watching every Rev.C feature ship without them — the Neopixels, the chamber thermistor, the cleaner PCB harness, the touchscreen. If you've been running your V2.4 on the original Afterburner toolhead and want to migrate to Stealthburner + CW2 without hunting down every component individually, this is the complete electrical side of that upgrade in one order. You'll still need to print the new toolhead parts, but everything that plugs in and powers up ships in this box.
