Recommended Print Settings

Print at 210–220°C for optimal color-shift effect. The dual pigments need sufficient heat to disperse evenly through each layer. Print speed of 40–60mm/s produces the best results — too fast and the pigments don't settle properly, reducing the color-shift intensity. Use 0.2mm layer height for a good balance between detail and shimmer. Wider line widths (0.5–0.6mm) produce more surface area for the dual-color effect to shine.

Pro Tips

The color-shift effect is most dramatic on convex curved surfaces — think vases, spheres, and rounded enclosures. Flat surfaces show the effect when viewed at an angle. For product photography, use a rotating turntable to capture the color transition in video — this is a major selling point for Etsy and social media listings. The Nebula variant photographs particularly well under studio lighting and gets the strongest "wow" reactions on print showcases.
