Dynalabs Maxi PETG Filament 2.5kg — Durable PETG in Mid-Size Bulk Format

The Dynalabs Maxi PETG delivers 2.5 kilograms of impact-resistant, UV-stable PETG filament on a single spool for $34.99 ($14.00/kg). Available in Black and White — the two highest-demand colors for functional parts production. For workshops producing outdoor components, mechanical parts, or waterproof enclosures, the 2.5kg format cuts your spool changes in half while keeping the spool manageable on standard holders.

PETG is the workhorse material for parts that need to perform in real-world conditions: it resists impact, handles temperatures up to 80°C, shrugs off UV exposure, and doesn't absorb water. Where PLA cracks under stress and ABS requires an enclosed printer, PETG offers the best balance of printability and performance — especially in bulk format for production runs.

Black vs. White PETG — Which to Stock?

Black PETG is the default for functional parts: it hides print imperfections, looks professional in mechanical assemblies, and shows less dirt and wear over time. White PETG is essential for light-colored enclosures, food-related products, medical device housings (in educational contexts), and any part where a clean, bright appearance is required. Most production environments stock both — Black for internal components, White for customer-facing parts.

Pro Tips

PETG in bulk format gives you an opportunity to fine-tune your PETG print profile once and then produce consistent results across thousands of grams. Spend the first 100g dialing in your stringing, retraction, and first-layer settings. Once locked in, the remaining 2.4kg will print identically since the entire spool comes from one production batch. Remember the glue stick trick for bed adhesion — it acts as a release agent, not an adhesion aid.

Best Applications

Production batches of outdoor parts, waterproof enclosures, drone frames, protective covers, signage mounts, UV-exposed components, batch manufacturing of mechanical parts, and any high-volume PETG production where 1kg spools run out too quickly.
