Berserker Replacement Linear Rail Carriages — MGN7H / MGN9C / MGN9H / MGN12C / MGN12H | 440C Stainless, Matched Tolerance

When your motion system starts showing play, roughness, or inconsistent movement, the carriage is almost always the first component to wear. These are the only replacement carriages that work correctly with Berserker Class linear rails — matched to the same tight tolerances and unique rail profile that make Berserker rails the smoothest option in the 3D printer market. Drop-in replacement, zero performance compromise.

Built for Berserker Rails — Not a Universal Fit

Commodity MGN carriages are manufactured loose enough to fit any rail from any supplier. That interchangeability comes at a direct cost to pre-load consistency, smoothness, and carriage life. Berserker rails are produced on dedicated equipment to a tighter profile than commodity suppliers can maintain at scale — which is why they outperform generic options, and why they require their own matched carriages. Fitting a generic MGN carriage to a Berserker rail results in either binding or play depending on how the tolerances stack. Neither is acceptable in a precision motion system.

If you're running Berserker rails and need a replacement carriage, this is the correct part. If you're building a new machine and haven't chosen your rails yet, start with the full Berserker rail and carriage assembly.

440C Stainless Steel — Rust-Proof, High-Cycle Performance

Both carriage body and bearing balls are 440C stainless steel — the same material as the Berserker rail. No surface treatment, no coating that flakes or corrodes. 440C stainless is the correct choice for 3D printer enclosures, humid garages, and any environment where carbon steel rails develop rust that contaminates the bearing path and accelerates wear. Medium pre-load on every variant: firm carriage positioning under load, no free-fall, no sloppy motion at direction changes.

Ultra-compact or miniature build MGN7H

Carriage Type Legend

  • H (Long / High Capacity): longer block, larger bearing contact area, higher load rating and rigidity — the correct choice for most 3D printer X and Y axes
  • C (Compact): shorter block, lighter weight, smaller footprint — use where space or mass is the primary constraint

General Features — All Models

  • 440C stainless steel body and bearings — rust-proof in humid and enclosed environments
  • Recirculating steel ball bearing system — four-direction load support
  • Medium pre-load — firm carriage positioning, no free-fall under gravity
  • Low friction, smooth motion from first use
  • Functional grease ports — shipped dry, ready for Mobilux EP2 lubrication before installation

When to Replace the Carriage Instead of the Full Rail

Carriages accumulate more wear cycles than rails in CoreXY and bed-slinger machines — particularly on the X axis where the carriage reverses direction thousands of times per print hour. If your Berserker rail is dimensionally straight and still smooth to the touch but the carriage has developed play, roughness, or inconsistent resistance, the carriage is the worn component. Replacing the carriage alone restores full performance without the cost and realignment time of a full rail swap. It's the correct diagnostic approach before condemning a functional rail.

⚠ Compatibility note: All variants are exclusively compatible with their matching Berserker Class rail. MGN7H uses M2 mounting screws — verify your mount design before ordering. These carriages will not perform correctly on non-Berserker rails from other suppliers.
