Enclosed CoreXY 3D Printer, 1200mm/s, Klipper, 350°C Hotend

The Sovol Zero is a compact, fully enclosed CoreXY 3D printer built for speed, material versatility, and clean air quality — all in a small footprint. With a peak print speed of 1200mm/s, XYZ full linear rails, a 350°C hotend, AC heated bed up to 120°C, built-in camera, air filtration, and Klipper firmware out of the box, the Zero packs a feature set that punches well above its size and price point.

1200mm/s CoreXY — Speed Without Sacrifice

The Zero's CoreXY motion system uses a compact layout with fewer moving parts and reduced inertia — the foundation for its 1200mm/s peak print speed. Klipper's Input Shaping technology compensates for mechanical resonance at high accelerations, eliminating ringing and ghosting artifacts that typically appear when pushing speeds this high. Pressure Advance handles extrusion lag compensation at corners and during acceleration/deceleration changes, keeping extrusion precise regardless of speed.

3.0 Auto-Leveling — Eddy Current + Pressure Sensing

The Zero's next-generation auto-leveling combines two independent sensing methods. An eddy current sensor rapidly maps the Z-axis compensation grid using magnetic induction without touching the bed surface — faster and more consistent than traditional contact-only methods. A pressure sensor then fine-tunes the exact touchpoint location for precision bed calibration. Adaptive area detection further optimizes the leveling grid to match the actual footprint of your model, reducing preparation time and improving first-layer accuracy in detail areas.

350°C Hotend — Engineering Material Ready

The Zero's hotend reaches 350°C, opening the door to PA (Nylon), PC (Polycarbonate), ASA, ABS, and other high-performance materials that standard 240–260°C hotends can't handle reliably. Combined with the 120°C AC heated bed and enclosed chamber, the Zero creates the thermal environment these materials require to print without warping or delamination.

XYZ Full Linear Rails — Precision at Every Axis

All three axes run on full linear rails — not the rods or wheels used in budget machines. Linear rails provide greater rigidity, smoother motion, reduced backlash, and better corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. At high speeds, the difference between rails and rods is measurable in print quality.

Enclosed Design + Air Filtration

The Zero's enclosed chamber serves two purposes: thermal stability for warp-prone materials, and containment of VOCs and particulate emissions. The built-in air filtration system actively filters VOCs and particles generated during printing. This doesn't eliminate the need for ventilation when printing materials that off-gas heavily, but it's a meaningful improvement over open-frame printers for everyday use.

Built-In Camera + Obico Integration

The Zero ships with a built-in camera that provides real-time print monitoring and time-lapse recording. It integrates with Obico for remote monitoring and failure detection — so you can watch your print from anywhere and get notified if something goes wrong.

Klipper — Open Source & Ready to Customize

The Zero runs Klipper firmware natively, giving you full access to Input Shaping, Pressure Advance, adaptive bed meshing, and the entire Klipper ecosystem of macros and plugins. The printer is fully open source — modify, customize, and extend it however you want. Chamber temperature monitoring is built in, with chamber heating compatibility planned for a future component.
