The QIDI Plus4 is a fully enclosed, actively heated CoreXY 3D printer built for engineering-grade filaments. With a 370°C bimetal hotend, a 400W chamber heater that reaches 65°C in under 8 minutes, a 305×305×280mm build volume, 600mm/s print speed at 20,000mm/s² acceleration, and Klipper firmware — it handles PPS-CF, PPA-CF, PA-CF, PC, ABS, ASA, and other demanding materials that open-frame or passively enclosed printers simply cannot manage reliably. This listing includes the updated solid state relay installed from the factory.

Active Chamber Heating — 65°C in 8 Minutes

The Plus4's 400W independent chamber heater maintains internal temperature up to 65°C with dual-layer insulation and active air circulation — not passive heat retention from the bed. This is the thermal environment that engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, PC, PA, and fiber-reinforced variants require to print without warping or layer separation. The chamber reaches 65°C in approximately 8 minutes and holds it consistently throughout the print. For materials like PPS-CF and PPA-CF/GF, this level of chamber temperature control is not optional — it's the difference between a successful print and a failed one.

370°C Hotend — 80W Bimetal Design

The second-generation 80W bimetal hotend reaches 370°C with ceramic plate heating and a thermocouple temperature sensor for precise measurement. The bimetal nozzle tip is hardened against abrasive fiber-reinforced filaments. Hardened steel gears with an 8.9:1 transmission ratio in the direct drive extruder maintain consistent grip and feed rate at high speeds and with stiff engineering filaments. An improved air duct design with a larger hotend fan reduces clogging risk and makes jam clearance and maintenance significantly faster.

600mm/s CoreXY — Dual Z Motors, 10mm Linear Shafts

The Plus4's CoreXY motion system uses 10mm high-hardness linear hollow steel shafts on X and Y with automatic belt tensioning. The Z-axis runs dual independent lead screw motors on 10mm linear shafts for flat, reliable bed positioning across the full 305mm platform — underpinned by a 6mm aluminum bed for exceptional flatness. Peak print speed hits 600mm/s with 20,000mm/s² acceleration. Klipper's VFA compensation, Input Shaping, and Pressure Advance manage print quality at these speeds.
