The Creality K2 Plus Ceramic Heating Block Hotend Kit is the official upgraded replacement hotend for the Creality K2 Plus Combo — a complete assembly that replaces the stock hotend with a 360° surround ceramic heater, 80W heating power, and an all-metal integrated Unicorn nozzle and titanium heatbreak designed for the K2 Plus's quick-swap nozzle ecosystem. Flow rate at 280°C with ABS reaches 40 mm³/s — 66% higher than the previous design — with support for 350°C maximum temperature and sustained 600 mm/s print speeds.

The stock K2 Plus hotend uses a conventional cartridge heater that contacts the heatblock from one side — leaving temperature gradients across the block that affect melt consistency at high flow rates. This upgraded assembly uses a 360° surround ceramic heater that wraps the entire block circumference. Full-perimeter contact eliminates the hot and cold zones that develop in single-side cartridge setups, delivering more uniform temperature distribution across the entire melt zone. The ceramic heater's lower thermal mass also means faster response to PID corrections and a measured heat-up time of 200°C in approximately 40 seconds — significantly faster than the previous design. This is the correct replacement if your K2 Plus is experiencing heat creep during long enclosed printing sessions, inconsistent extrusion at high speeds, or hotend failures after running engineering-grade materials.
