BIQU Panda Den — Printer Stand with Filament Waste Collection and Gridfinity Tool Storage for Bambu Lab X1, P1, P2 and A1 Series

The BIQU Panda Den is a purpose-built steel printer stand for Bambu Lab X1, P1, P2, and A1 series printers — part of the BIQU Panda Verse ecosystem. Your printer sits on top. Filament waste drops directly from the printer's purge chute into a dedicated waste collection drawer below. Two additional drawers store your tools, nozzles, build plates, and spare parts. The body is industrial-grade steel with four rubber anti-vibration feet, keeping your printer stable and your workspace organized without any modification to the printer itself.

Compatible with: Bambu Lab P1P, P1S, P2S, X1C, X1E, A1, A1 Mini.

⚠️ P1/X1 Waste Chute Extension requires printing before installation. The waste chute adapter that connects your printer's purge outlet to the Den's waste drawer needs to be 3D printed — STL files and assembly images are in the official BTT Wiki documentation.
⚠️ RGB lighting kit is NOT included — sold separately. The Panda Den includes mounting provisions and wiring routes for the BIQU Panda RGB Controller if you want to add it later.

Direct-Drop Waste Collection — No More Waste Behind the Printer

Bambu Lab printers purge filament waste during every color change and at the start of most print jobs. The standard solution is a small bucket behind the printer that overflows, gets knocked over, and requires constant attention. The Panda Den eliminates this entirely. The waste chute outlet on your printer aligns with an opening on the top of the Den — filament waste drops directly into the dedicated waste drawer below through a trapdoor mechanism. When it's full, pull the drawer, flip the panel, and dump it into the trash. No mess, no reaching behind the printer, no overflow events. Users report the added mass of the steel Den also dampens printer vibration during high-acceleration moves — a secondary benefit that comes with the territory of placing a Bambu printer on a heavy steel base.

Gridfinity Tool Storage — Two Drawers, Fully Configurable

Beyond waste collection, the Panda Den includes two additional drawers with a Gridfinity adapter chassis — the open-source modular storage grid system widely adopted in the 3D printing community. Gridfinity compatibility means you can populate the drawers with any of the thousands of available printed Gridfinity bins and organizers, or design your own. Nozzles, hex keys, tweezers, spare thermistors, silicone socks, screwdrivers — everything you reach for during a print session lives in the drawers directly under your printer, exactly where you need it.

Build Plate Storage Rack — 256×256mm Plates

The Panda Den includes a side-mounted storage rack for 256×256mm build plates — the standard size for Bambu Lab P1 and X1 printers. Instead of stacking plates flat on a shelf or leaving them loose on the desk, the rack holds them vertically and accessible. Side bracket mounting points are also marked on the Den's frame for custom DIY extensions if you want to add additional storage on the sides.

Industrial-Grade Steel Construction — Four Anti-Vibration Feet

The Panda Den body is fabricated from high-strength steel — not plastic, not aluminum extrusion. The result is a base heavy enough to not move during printing and stiff enough to not flex under the printer's weight over time. Four rubber shock-absorption pads on the bottom isolate the Den from the desk surface, reducing transmitted vibration and protecting whatever surface the Den sits on. The mass is intentional — a heavy base is a stable base for a printer running at 500mm/s.

RGB Expansion Ready — Panda Verse Ecosystem Integration

The Panda Den has dedicated mounting provisions for the BIQU Panda RGB Controller — an addressable LED strip that runs under the Den's perimeter and illuminates the workspace. Lighting effects are controllable via the BIQU web UI and BQ app. The wiring routes are built into the Den's base so installation is clean with no external cable runs. The RGB kit is sold separately — the Den ships ready to accept it when you're ready to add it.

When Do You Need This?

If your Bambu printer sits directly on a desk with a waste bucket behind it, the Panda Den is the upgrade that consolidates everything: stable elevated base, integrated waste management, and organized tool storage — all in one footprint the same size as the printer itself. It's particularly valuable for multi-color AMS printing where purge volumes are high and waste accumulates fast. The Gridfinity tool storage turns the space under your printer from dead space into the most accessible storage in your workshop.
