ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is the direct evolution of ABS with one critical addition: built-in UV and weather resistance that doesn't require coatings, paint, or post-processing to maintain. Parts printed in ASA hold their color, their mechanical properties, and their structural integrity outdoors indefinitely — in direct sunlight, rain, temperature swings, and coastal salt air. Same printing behavior as ABS, without ABS's outdoor lifespan problem.
